Tony and I did not always see things the same way, but in recently years I have come to love him very much. I think we had both mellowed with age.
I remember back to this time last year, when he joined some friends and I on a weekly Zoom meeting, and quite a lot of my friends commented, "What a lovable person", he was. However, now he has gone, and he will leave a big hole in my life.
He had his ailments that he had overcome admirably, over the years, and I hope he is now in a happier place, and not having to struggle with the trials and tribulations of everyday life.
